On the morning of Saturday October 14th, an annular eclipse will occur over parts of the US in a spectacular display. In Denver roughly 80% of the sun’s disk will be covered by the moon, causing the morning sun to darken considerably. Join Standley Lake Stargazing at the Standley Lake Public Library to safely view this event through a specially-equipped telescope!
CAUTION: NEVER LOOK DIRECTLY AT THE SUN WITHOUT APPROVED FILTERS, EVEN DURING AN ECLIPSE!
