Cosmic Conversations - Our Hostile Planetary Neighborhood

  • 8485 Kipling Street Arvada, CO, 80005 United States (map)

Did you know that upwards of 40 tons of meteoric material hits the Earth everyday? While almost all of it is vaporized and poses no threat to Earth and its inhabitants, there are much greater threats lurking in our Solar System and beyond. Join Standley Lake Stargazing for a look at how comets, asteroids, and even interstellar phenomenon make dangerous neighbors.
