Invisible Colors of the Cosmos

We’ve all seen the stunning images from the Hubble and now the Webb, but do these fantastical objects actually look like that to our eyes? Join Standley Lake Stargazing for look behind the scenes at how these colorful images are produced and how scientists create celestial portraits using invisible colors in the infrared and more!

Reminder: Our Thursday evening programs continue virtually until January 2024 when we’ll resume in-person programs at the Standley Lake Library! Send an email to contact@standleylakestargazing.com if you’d like to join the mailing list and receive notifications about our weekly programs.
