Join Standley Lake Stargazing for an outdoor Perseids watch party! The annual Perseids meteor shower never disappoints, with activity rates of over 60 meteors per hour at its peak, and visible to the naked eye without special equipment.

Telescopes will be available for public viewing and you’ll get to see the craters of the Moon and the rings of Saturn, in addition to a constant stream of meteors!

Consider bringing a blanket or chair, and bug spray. You’re welcome to bring your own telescope or binoculars.
