Where Is Earth 2.0?

As of 2024, there are 5,780 and counting. That’s the number of planets discovered in solar systems outside of our own. Of those, several are thought to share similarities with Earth, and they might be closer to us than you might think. Join Standley Lake Stargazing for an update on the hunt for exoplanets!

Fundraiser note: Our summer fundraising program is underway, we truly rely on your support to keep our organization running, if you’re able to contribute please visit standleylakestargazing.com/donate to help us reach our goal of $6,000 for the year. We can’t do it without you, thanks for your support!

Reminder: Our Thursday evening programs continue throughout the year. Send an email to contact@standleylakestargazing.com if you’d like to join the mailing list and receive notifications about our weekly programs.
