Explore Mars In Depth

Mars is putting on a show for the entire month. We’ve gained so much knowledge about this captivating world, and NASA has put together a great introductory site to learn more about the science, missions and future plans for all things Martian.

Visit the page here, and while you’re at it check out the overview pages for the other planets!

Mars

This dynamic planet has seasons, polar ice caps, canyons, extinct volcanoes, and evidence that it was even more active in the past. Mars is one of the most explored bodies in our solar system, and it's the only planet where we've sent rovers to roam the alien landscape.
