To recap, this week we've seen the largest Full Moon of the year, we've watched Venus stray near the Pleiades, but what about the other planets?

It turns out that Mars, Jupiter and Saturn are all visible in the pre-dawn sky, grouped close together. To find it, head over to Sky & Telescope's weekly column, a good reference source for visual observers year-round.

This Week's Sky at a Glance, April 3 - 11 - Sky & Telescope

Friday, April 3 ■ Venus this evening shines in the upper left edge of the Pleiades, as shown above. How soon before the end of twilight can you first begin to see the little cluster? Bring your telescope, binoculars, and/or long-focus camera! This is a once-in-eight-years event.

For the next several weeks it'll be possible to spot four planets within an hour after sunset and an hour before dawn, until Mercury joins the fray. We'll keep you posted!

Clear skies!
