Last chance to view Comet NEOWISE!

With only a few days remaining of favorable viewing, try to catch comet NEOWISE before it leaves us for nearly 7,000 years!

It’s positioned high in the western twilight, go out around 9:30 PM and look below the Big Dipper to find it. It’ll appear like a somewhat fuzzy star at first, with more detail visible after your eyes begin to adapt to the dark.

The accompanying chart will help locate NEOWISE over the coming days.

Check back each weekday @ 5:00 pm for more observing guides and science news!
