See Comet SWAN Tonight!
Comet SWAN (C/2020 F8) is making its appearance in twilight through the rest of the week, here’s how to see it from your backyard tonight!
Comet SWAN isn’t as bright as early predictions suggested, but all is not lost. A pair of binoculars or a small telescope should offer enough of a boost to see it after twilight, around 10 pm. You’ll need an unobstructed view of the northern horizon free from intrusive lighting and buildings.
Charts and details are provided in this Sky & Telescope article by Bob King.
